For quite a while this column-less concrete bridge puzzled me. About 150 m. span, i reckoned, without any support in the middle!! Eventually, an architect friend of mine solved my riddle: it is actually a suspension bridge. Neither pylons nor suspenders are needed because the steel suspension cables, enbedded and invisible inside the concrete deck, are strong enough for the structure, connected to both sides of the park valley.
